18.6 FAILURE CODES AND SERVICE PROCEDURES

Many newer models use a system of failure codes to warn of certain specific problems or conditions. Following are the failure codes and symptoms for a number of different models. The codes and symptoms are listed along with the explanation, possible cause and respective repair procedure(s).

MAGNETRON SERVICE TEST MODE
AMANA Commercial Ovens Including RC16MP, RC17, RC2OA, RC22, RC22MP, RC22MPS, RC22S, RC27, DQ22HS, MC22MP and MC22MPT Models

Enter the Service Test Mode as follows:
1. Open door.
2. Press DELETE.
3. Press pads 1, 3, 5, 7.
4. Close door.
5. Press DELETE within 15 seconds (Pressing RESET at any time will cancel the Service Test)
